Let’s get mapping With GTA300 Mapping comes a new tab on the main display screen: A ‘Map’ tab appears next to ‘Jobs’. Click this and the user can now view and edit geo-referenced data. The screen splits into two with the map shown in the upper window and full details of the job information, listed under various headings, appearing in the lower window. The upper map window has a range of buttons the user can employ to customise the view to exact requirements. These can be used to select areas of the map, zoom in or out, select the various display options or preview and print the map report. On the left-hand side of the job information window are three vertical tabs, which the operator can use to work on the maps and the information they contain. The three tabs are labelled Job Selection, Map Properties and Information. |
