During the last two months a Brazilian company called Videomakers have been shooting video in both North America and Europe of AGCO machines equipped with systems from AGCO Global Technologies. The shots together with those filmed in Brazil, Argentina and Chile will be used to produce the worldwide AGCO Global Technologies CD-ROM for use in all AGCO markets.

The CD-ROM will be divided into four sections and will focus on the concepts of lightbar guidance and automatic steering, record keeping and traceability, precision farming and service providing, and will show machines equipped with systems from AGCO Global Technologies that allow the farmer to put these concepts into practice. The objective is to create a high-level commercial video focused on farmers and service providers but which will also be used to promote Global Technologies within AGCO and throughout research and academic institutions.

Testimonials from farmers and service providers, and scenes of various operations from around the world will allow the spectator to understand how AGCO Global Technologies are helping farmers worldwide to improve farming practices in their own local markets. The CD-ROM will also help to increase farmer awareness regarding the need for technology to remain competitive and be able to comply with increasing worldwide standards on food quality and safety.
